Located in the only Victorian Queen Anne Train station in North Carolina, the Hamlet Depot serves as an active passenger depot as well as home to the Hamlet Depot & Museums.

From the Statewide Smart Start Initiative, Richmond County Partnership for Children was birthed in 1998 comprised of four components: childcare related, subsidy, health, and family support.

The UCCA Head Start Program has served children and families in Richmond County since 1985. The South Hamlet Center and the Fayetteville Street Center are both located in Hamlet.

United Way of Richmond County is an independent, volunteer-directed community organization that is governed by a 12 member board that represents the community we serve.
