The Project Manager plans, directs, & coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished withing prescribed time frames & funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors:

  • Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, & allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
  • Establishes work plan & staffing for each phase of the project & arranges for assignment of project personnel
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan & to assing duties, responsibilities, & scope of authority
  • Directs & coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule & within prescribed budget
  • Reviews status reports & prepared by project personnel & modifies schedules or plans as required
  • Prepares project reports for managements, customers, or others
  • Confers & assists project personnel with technical advice & to resolve problems

Experience:

  •  5+ years in related field
  • Plastics background
  • Product knowledge
  • Basic Math (Algebra & Trigonometry)
  • Working knowledge of SAP Computer System
  • Computer knowledge to include Lotus, Excel, Windows, Microsoft Office, & Word processing
